Summary of Character[]
Tyler Blu Gunderson (better known as Blu for short) is a blue macaw and the main protagonist from Rio. Blu is a Spix's Macaw. He is socially awkward, domesticated, and clumsy. As a young chick, Blu was smuggled from Rio de Janeiro to Moose Lake and was adopted by Linda, whom he lived with for 15 years. While he can log on to a computer, shred on a skateboard and even resolve physics equations, in the first film he could fly, but later learns to do so.

Trivia[]
- Blu cannot fly in the episode which is sort of an error, while it is true that in the first film he cannot fly, however he learns to fly at the end of the film.
