Transcript[]

(Sketch starts with pictures of Mike at Sulley at Monsters University.)

Mike: (narration) Monsters University. I don't think I'd be the scarer I am today if it wasn't for old MU.

(Cut to Roz with Mike and Sully holding degrees.)

Roz: Except that degree is worthless!

Sulley: Come again?

Roz: Didn't you hear? Monsters University lost their creditation when it was revealed everyone was copying.

Mike: You mean on tests?

Roz: No, the whole plot of the movie was a rip-off of 80's college movies.

Sulley: Well, that's just great. Now we're gonna have to re-ear our degrees. I can't afford to go to college again. What are we supposed to do?

Roz: I have a sugesstion...

(Cuts to Mike and Sully at Greendale.)

Sully: Greendale Community College?

Abed: Cool. I get to be in a MAD sketch. Cool, cool, cool.

[Title card: Monsters Community]]

Abed: I’m Abed, this is (Cuts to Troy Barnes) my best friend, Troy. (Cuts to Jeff Winger and Annie Edison) That’s Jeff and Annie. There are other people in this study group, but they’re gone because that would be way too many characters for this sketch. (Mike and Sulley look confused at trying to understand what he’s saying.)

Jeff: We don’t understand when he says stuff like that either.

Mike: Wow, that’s gotta be annoying, but I guess it could be worse. The only school Randall could get into is Hogwarts.

(Scene cuts to the Hogwarts Wizard Academy, Severus Snape is talking to the wizards-in-training.)

Severus: Now in today’s defense against the Dark Arts, we’ll practice how to guard against monster attacks. Now I need a volunteer. Randall, could you come up here? (Randall Boggs crawls over to his podium) Thank you. Class? (Cuts to the students) As we discussed. (The students get their weapons ready, as they shout their battle cry, and then start to beat up Randall) Good, very good. Don’t forget to work the face.

Randall: You’re not even using magic!

(Scene cuts back to Abed, Mike, and Sulley)

Abed: Nice Harry Potter reference. This is what I love about MAD mashups. (Mary Poppins dances in the background.) We’re gonna have so many cameos, and maybe jokes.

Sulley: Yeah, yeah, that’s great. We just need to study, so we can get these credits, graduate, and go back to work. (Cuts to Mike and Sulley walking down the hallway, when Abed suddenly opens a door.)

Abed: Look, a magic doorway portal. Like in your movie, get it?

Mike: Uh-huh, we’re just headed to class. (Abed closes the door, then suddenly appears from a beach behind a door on the other side.)

Abed: This door leads to the beach. (Closes door, then suddenly appears from behind another door, in his pajamas, with Boo being seen sleeping in a bed.) This one leads to a kid’s bedroom. That’s kinda weird. (Closes door, appears from yet another door that leads to Narnia as a satyr with the lion behind him.) It’s Narnia in here. That’s another reference. (Mike and Sulley facepalm while groaning in frustration, and continue walking. Then cuts to Mike and Sulley studying, then Abed suddenly appears.) What are you doing? Doesn’t look very mashed up.

Sulley: We’re studying, so we can pass our classes.

Abed: Perfect, you can’t study without your old college friends. (Cuts to Art, Squishy, and Terry & Terri, look all grown up.)

Art: Hey guys! I’m still quirky!

Abed: We’re gonna do a scaring competition, like in your movie.

Mike: We don’t have time to do scenes from our movie!

Abed: What if you made it kinda like Hunger Games? (Cuts to Art, Squishy, and Terry & Terri, now dressed up in flashy, feathery costumes, and now being joined by Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.)

Mike: Why would we do that?

Abed: Because we can. (Cuts to Mike and Sulley in the cafeteria, eating lunch. Then Abed appears, yet again, this time, holding Boo.) Alright, so I got this baby.

Mike: NO! (Slaps Boo out of Abed’s hands.) No more references! No more talking about our movies! I-it’s too much! I-it’s too meta!

Abed: But that’s what Community does, reference things. And Monsters University references old 80’s movies. And this is a MAD sketch, what’d you expect?

Sulley: Please, I’m begging you! No more meta jokes, we just want to get our credit so we can leave.

Abed: You want credits? Well, we’re at the end of the episode, that’s where all the credits are. (Grabs two parts of the MAD logo screen from behind the screen.) Take ‘em. (Closes the screen and the sketch ends.)

Mike: Oh, very funny. “End” credits.

Sulley: I don’t think those are transferable.

Abed: Oh, then I can’t help you.

Trivia[]

This is the first time Disney and Pixar's Monsters University and NBC's Community showed up.
Don Carlton, Britta Perry, Ben Chang, Shirley Bennett, Dean Pelton, Pierce Hawthrone, or Leonard do not appear in this sketch, and Troy Barnes, Annie Edison, Terri and Terry Perry, and Scott "Squishy" Squibbles do not speak in this sketch either.
Unlike the movie, Sulley's colors are an opposite. Also, his tail is missing!
Mike does not have horns in this sketch.
In the beginning is see a photo of Mike and Sulley graduating from Monsters university, but this is an error, because originally in the film both were expelled from Monsters university.
